Nova Guinea

Dutch military expeditions in Dutch New Guinea from 1907–1915

Nova Guinea is a series of scientific books which initially published the results of the Dutch Dutch New Guinea expeditions in 1903, 1907, 1909, 1913, 1920 and 1926. Its first editor was Arthur Wichmann .

The first expeditions were financed by the Maatschappij ter Bevordering van het Natuurkundig Onderzoek der Nederlandsche Koloniën .

It later appeared in a new series from 1937 to 1959, and then became a magazine.

Works by Arthur Wichmann, Paul Wirz , Hendrik Willem Fischer , AJP van de Broek and many others have appeared in it.
