history

The company was founded in 1992 in Krosno (Poland) by the brothers Adam and Jerzy Krzanowski, who are now the company's chairman and deputy chairman. Together with their American partner Ronald Stern, they are the only shareholders in the company. The business strategy of the Nowy Styl Group is defined by autonomous production and international expansion through the acquisition of other companies, with which the company was able to rapidly increase its market shares in the core markets. In 2011 the German brand Grammer Office, which belonged to Sato Office GmbH, became part of the Nowy Styl Group. The main motives for this acquisition were rapid growth in Germany, the diversification of the product portfolio and access to a well-developed sales network in Germany. The product portfolio of the Grammer Office brand includes ergonomic seating solutions with patented seating technologies, such as the Glide-Tec mechanism, or options such as the AirShape, EasiLift or Catback system. At that time, Grammer Office became the fifth brand in the Nowy Styl Group's portfolio. The second acquisition on the German market took place in June 2013: the takeover of office furniture and chair manufacturer Rohde & Grahl. In 2014, the company acquired 50% of the shares in the Turkish production and sales company TCC - The Chair Company. In 2015 the Nowy Styl Group took over another company - SITAG AG from Switzerland. In 2018 the group acquired the majority stake (60%) in the company Stylis Dubai, which it had founded together with its trading partner in the Middle East. In January 2019, the German company Kusch + Co became part of the Nowy Styl Group. In the medical segment, Kusch + Co equips hospitals, old people's homes, senior citizens' homes and treatment and care centers in Germany and the Benelux countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg). In addition, Kusch + Co has already delivered to over 240 airports, such as Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle in Paris, Frankfurt Airport and the world's largest airport, Daxing Airport in China. The goals of this acquisition were, among other things, the expansion of the highly specialized health segment, the optimization of production costs and significantly increased competitiveness. In June 2019, the company invested in the French market and took over Majencia - the market leader in office furniture and workstation equipment in France
