Delo is the language of the African Delo with only about 10,900 (2003) speakers in Ghana, east of the border with Togo.
Delo is based in Brewaniase, 32 km south of Nkwanta. It is also spoken in Togo by around 5,400 speakers (1993) on the border with Ghana. Alternative names are Ntrubo, Ntribu, and Ntribou. Delo was newly classified from the Kwa - into the Gur language family.
