Nupoid languages

The nupoid languages (or Nupoid for short ) form a subunit of the West Benue Congo , a group of the Benue Congo languages , which in turn belong to the Niger-Congo language family .

The ten or so nupoid languages ​​- apart from Igbira and Gade - are closely related to the nupe ; they are spoken by about three million people in western and central Nigeria .
