The O'Reilly Auto Parts 250 is a car race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series , which has been taking place at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City , Kansas since 2001 .
From 2001 to 2006 it took place in hot July, but since many teams had problems with the temperatures at that time, the race was moved to April in 2007. The winner of this forward race was Erik Darnell , who won his first Craftsman Truck Series race.
