OFTB

OFTB (short for Operation From The Bottom ) was an American hip hop group from Watts (Los Angeles) .

The group consisted of the three members Kevin "Flipside" White, Sammy "Bust Stop" Williams and Ronald "Low MB" Watkins.

On the Big Beat Records label, they released their debut album Straight Up Watts in 1992 and the single "Slangin 'Dope" from it. In 1994 OFTB signed a record deal with Death Row Records , Suge Knight's record label . There they contributed songs to the soundtracks of the films Murder Was The Case , Above The Rim and Gridlock'd . They also worked with Tupac Shakur .

On September 23, 2013, Flipside was shot dead in Watts.
