OSx86

OSx86 is a joint project that provides information to enable the macOS operating system (originally “Mac OS X”) , which is actually adapted and limited to Apple computers, to run on PCs from other manufacturers. This became possible only after Apple in 2005/2006 of PowerPC - processors from IBM and Motorola on x86 processors is switched from Intel, as used in most PCs.

Computers that are not sold by Apple but still use the operating system made by Apple are also called Hackintosh .
