The Oatt Rocks are a group of cliff rocks off the south side of Heard Island in the southern Indian Ocean . They rise from the sea in front of the entrance to Winston Lagoon .
The group is named after R. G. Oatt, radio traffic supervisor in a 1949 campaign of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to Heard Island.
