The trolleybus P'yŏngsŏng is the trolleybus network in the North Korean city of P'yŏngsŏng .
history
The network was put into operation on August 4, 1983. The second line, which extends into the urban area of Pyongyang , was established in 1992.
After 2005, the lines were separated from each other, at least on the line between P'yŏngsŏng station and the west of the city, operations are carried out all day. It is not known whether regular traffic takes place on the second line. A new depot was also built between 2012 and 2013, while an older depot was demolished elsewhere.
vehicles
There are around 18 to 20 vehicles in stock. There are three different types; Converted buses Ikarus 260 and Karosa B731 / 732 as well as Jipsan ( Ch'ŏngjin bus works ). Many vehicles were taken over by the Pyongyang trolleybus .
