In 2003, 228 trolleybuses were ordered, including 188 solo and 40 articulated vehicles. With a view to the 2010 Winter Olympics , the entire vehicle fleet from 1982 was renewed. The bulk order went to the manufacturer New Flyer in Winnipeg, the electrical equipment was supplied by the German company Vossloh Kiepe . The first new trolleybus has been in use as planned since September 27, 2005; delivery was completed in 2008 - two years earlier than planned. There is also an option to reorder 40 more vehicles.

As in other North American cities, it is also possible to take bicycles with you on Vancouver's trolleybuses. For this purpose, each vehicle has a fold-out bracket at the front for attaching a maximum of two bicycles, which is operated by the passenger himself.
