Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office of the People's Republic of China
The Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office of the People's Republic of China ( 最高 检察院 , Zuìgāo Jiǎncháyuàn ) is the highest law enforcement and investigative agency in the People's Republic of China . The Hong Kong and Macau special economic zones are not subject to it, they form their own legal districts.
Members and heads of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office are appointed by the National People's Congress . The current chief attorney general is Zhang Jun (张军).
