Object decisions are in the decision-oriented organizational theory - based on the decision theory builds - all decisions that man company A-may also meet one. This includes decisions about sales prices , capacities , stocks or production quantities . Object decisions can also be preliminary decisions; Only some of the possible alternatives are then discarded in order to make a final decision later. In companies with several employees , organizational and communication decisions are also possible.

As part of the organizational structure , the question arises which property decisions should be made by which job holders . Object tasks relate on the one hand to operational activities, i.e. work, and on the other hand to object decisions. Certain rights - called competencies - are important for making the property decisions:

  • Object decision-making competence: is the right to decide with regard to certain alternative decisions
  • Execution Skill : refers to the execution of these decisions
  • Disposal authority: includes the right to access materials, information, machines or tools outside the workplace.
