A fruit bag (Austria: fruit Sackerl or paper Stanitzel ) is a bag made of paper in a special triangular design , which for the packaging of loose fruit and vegetables used.

history

In the context of the emerging climate debate in Germany and the resulting ban on plastic bags as part of the federal climate protection law expected by the federal government in autumn 2019, the previously more widespread paper bags in the typical design will be used again.
