Ox blood (drink)

Ox blood was the name given to a specialty of the famous Königsberg restaurant, blood dish . You took a champagne and mixed it with a good shot of red burgundy . The popular drink was named on the one hand because of its pale red color, reminiscent of wood protection paint, ox blood , on the other hand because of the place of origin, the blood dish, ox blood.
