Odense Stævnet
Odense Stævnet or Odense XI was a city selection of the football players of the city of Odense who took part in the Exhibition Cities Cup 1962/63 .
In the competition, which was launched on April 18, 1955, the best football team in a trade fair city was to take part. Since the rules only allowed one team from each city, it was decided from the clubs Odense BK , B 1909 Odense , B 1913 Odense and Odense KFUM to form a team only for this tournament.
The city selection played against Irish representatives Drumcondra FC that year . The first leg in Dublin was lost on October 3, 1962 1: 4. After the 4: 2 in the second leg, the team was eliminated.
