The 5th Inter-Cities Fairs Cup was in the season 1962 / 63 played. The defending champions FC Valencia won the two-legged final against Dinamo Zagreb . Five more city selections took part. Francisco Lojacono and Pedro Manfredini , both from AS Roma and Waldo from Valencia CF , were top scorer with six goals each.
In the event of a tie after the return leg, a playoff was played.
