Stævnet ( Danish : The Meeting ) or Copenhagen XI was a Danish selection team. She was recruited since 1904 from several - later up to eleven - football clubs in the capital, the so-called "Stævnet clubs" (Danish: "Stævneklubberne") and officially existed until 1994. The Stævnet team mainly participated in the From 1955 to 1960 and between 1961 and 1964 for Denmark in the European Fair Cup , the predecessor of the UEFA Cup . In the other cup competitions, i.e. the European Champions 'Cup and the European Cup Winners' Cup , on the other hand, pure Copenhagen club teams played, provided they had qualified for them. From the beginning of the 1970s, the team increasingly lost importance.

The team usually consisted of players from "Stævneklubberne", but at times players from other Danish clubs also strengthened the team on loan. When the team played two games against Chelsea in 1958 , eight or seven players came from the club BK Frem Copenhagen . The team played most of the friendlies against English opponents. The highlight, on the other hand, was undoubtedly the meeting with the reigning world champion from Brazil on May 10, 1960 , which the Danish national team only lost 3: 4.
