The Køge Boldklub was a Danish football club from Køge .
The association was founded on October 1st, 1927. Between 1940 and 2003 the club belonged to a total of 34 seasons in the highest Danish league .
On July 1, 2009 the club merged with Herfølge BK to HB Køge .

The greatest successes were winning the Danish championship in 1954 and 1975 and the runner-up in 1952.
Cup
Køge BK reached the national cup final twice. There, the team lost in 1963 (1: 2 against B 1913 Odense ) and 1979 (0: 1 against B 1903 Copenhagen ) in each case.
