Stad Utrecht (also Utrecht elftal , international and Utrecht XI ) was a football team from the Dutch city of Utrecht , in the 1962/63 season at the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup participated.

In the first six trade fair cup events, only one team could be entered per city. Therefore, selections from several clubs were put together in different cities, which should take part in the cup. In the 1962/63 season, a selection of the clubs DOS (Door Oefening Sterk), Velox and Elinkwijk participated for Utrecht. These three clubs also merged to form FC Utrecht in 1970 .

The best-known players in the city selection from Utrecht in the 1962/63 trade fair cup were the Dutch internationals Frans Geurtsen , Humphrey Mijnals and Tonny van der Linden . She was trained by Daan van Beek , who led Velox to the Eerste Divisie in 1962. The team eliminated Tasmania 1900 Berlin with two wins in the first round , but lost twice to Hibernian Edinburgh in the second round .

In the following years, no city selection from Utrecht took part in the trade fair trophy, but the Eredivisie team from DOS.
