Officer candidate

Officer applicant is the official name in Germany for a person who has applied for a career in the career group of officers in the Bundeswehr . After successful entry into the career, the person is called an officer candidate . Those with a higher education also have the option of hiring with a higher rank without becoming a candidate .

After a pre-selection has been made on the basis of the application documents , the remaining applicants take part in a selection process at the Assessment Center for Executives of the Bundeswehr (ACFüKrBw) in the Mudra barracks in Cologne , where their health suitability is also determined.
