The Oghamstein of Rusheens East stands at the end of a field on a low hill, in the townland of the same name ( Irish An Roisín Thoir ) in the municipality of Kilmovee, southeast of Charlestown in the east of County Mayo in Ireland .

The Oghamstein from shale is 1.26 m high, 0.43 m wide and 0.33 m thick. It was previously installed as a "knee stone" in the low enclosure of a fountain dedicated to St. Mobhi. It now stands north of The Three Wells and was dated by Sabine Ziegler to AD 400–500.

On the northeast edge is the slightly damaged inscription. ᚛ᚐᚂᚐᚈᚈᚑᚄ ᚋᚐᚊᚔ ᚁᚏ᚜ transcribed as ALATTOS MAQI BR - German Alattos son of Br ... The last letters were broken away when the stone was built into the wall of the fountain.
