Ohligser TV

The Ohligser TV (completely Ohligser Turnverein 1888 , OTV88 for short ) is a German multisport club from Solingen ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

history

The club was founded in 1888 as a gymnastics club. After the Second World War, nine departments (badminton, handball, canoeing, chess, swimming, taekwondo, tennis, gymnastics and volleyball) were established in the club. In the meantime, the association has the largest number of members in Solingen. The most successful department in the club is badminton. The first team of the division played in the 1978/79 season in the 1st Bundesliga and from 1988 to 2002 and from 2003 to 2005 in the 2nd Bundesliga.
