Without filter

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Without a filter is a former SWF TV show with international pop and rock groups that performed live in front of an audience in a studio in about 45 minutes without sound correction. Technically, this was breaking new ground, because in contrast to the " Rockpalast " (WDR), which broadcasts from larger halls (e.g. Grugahalle ), the location here was deliberately dimensioned so that conventional studio technology could continue to be used. At the end of 1983, the SWF started this television series, which quickly became one of the most popular German music programs. Around 300 programs were broadcast, including concerts by Chaka Khan , Joe Cocker and Deep Purple . Individual recordings are available from the SWR media shop.
