No fear or saddle is a western-style adventure series by Douglas Heyes . It was first broadcast on September 16, 1971 on the US television channel CBS . The series takes place shortly before the USA entered the First World War in 1914.

action

Former officer Hank Brackett saves Johnny Reach, who has also left the army, before he is unjustly lynched as a cattle thief. Both then set up a business and now work as a kind of private security service. They develop a special payment method in order to make as much profit as possible: every customer has to give them a completed check in advance. The bigger the problem, the higher the amount must be. They then select the most profitable from the various checks. Usually they work for railroad companies, landowners or the government. They then travel through Western America in their car and experience a wide variety of adventures. Brackett ensures the necessary cleverness and Reach ensures the necessary fitness.

background

In contrast to typical westerns, the series often shows modern weapons and devices such as airplanes, automobiles and machine guns.
