The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz were an arena football team from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that played in the af2 and the Arena Football League (AFL). The Yard Dawgz played their home games mainly in the Ford Center .
history
The Yard Dawgz were founded in 2004 and started in af2 in the same year .
Although Oklahoma City played some very good main rounds and reached the playoffs five times, they failed each time in the first round.
After the end of af2 in 2009, the Yard Dawgz tried another season in the Arena Football League (AFL). After the 2010 season, the franchise was dissolved, as owner Phil Miller could not acquire sponsors.
