The meteor shower of the October Camelopardalids is a meteor shower observable on October 5th and 6th, which has its maximum on October 5th. The Radiant is the border of the constellations Dragon and Giraffe , that of Central Europe from circumpolar is.

The October camelopardalids were observed by several meteor cameras on October 5, 2005 . There were meteors up to −6. Size class registered. In the following years the meteor shower appeared regularly. The original body of the current is still unknown.
