Cerebral poles
The cerebral poles are three central orientations of the telencephalon (cerebrum); are therefore anatomical location and direction designations .
In principle, they are named analogously to the cerebral lobes and each refer to the end part:
- Polus frontalis (frontal pole), end of the frontal lobe
- Polus occipitalis (occipital pole), end of the occipital lobe
- Polus temporalis (temporal pole), end of the temporal lobe
