Olive branch painter
A Minoan vase painter is called an olive branch painter .
The name is a so-called emergency name , as the real name of the artisan has not been passed down. Olive and crocus motifs are characteristic of the painter's works, they reveal connections to the fresco art of the time. The works from the late Minoan period (SM IB) are dated between 1550 and 1450 BC. Dated.
