Oliver Gritz

Oliver Gritz (* 1965 in Cologne ) is a German entrepreneur, manager and author.

Life

After graduating from high school and studying economics, Gritz began working for the Swiss logistics group Danzas in 1992. Until the end of 2009 he worked there in Basel (Switzerland), Hong Kong, Seattle (USA), Singapore, Miami (USA) and finally moved to the headquarters of Deutsche Post DHL in Bonn in 2005 . Until the end of 2009, he was Head of Finance at DHL Express.

In 2010 he reoriented himself. He started a few businesses and also focused on developing his charity Run & Ride for Reading, founded in 2008 . This takes care of learning and reading promotion for children and young people and sets up reading clubs in schools in this context.

To finance the reading clubs, Run & Ride for Reading u. a. Running events and donation racing bike tours.

In addition to his entrepreneurial and charitable activities, Oliver Gritz writes books and gives lectures.
