Oliver Robins (* 1971 ) is an American child actor , writer and director.

life and career

His first film role was in the TV Movie Million Dollar Infield in 1982 . A few weeks later, he starred as Kevin on the ABC TV Movie: Don't Go to Sleep . He also played in the comedy Airplane II: The Sequel in '82. Most of the time, Robins was just a guest actor on television. He became famous in 1982 through the film series Poltergeist and Poltergeist II, The Other Side as Robbie Freeling, the film brother of Carol-Anne ( Heather O'Rourke ).

In 1986 he turned his back on acting and worked in show business as a writer and director. In 1999 he wrote the film Eating in LA . In 2000 he directed his first film Dumped and in 2004 Roomies .
