The Olympic Flex Group Aktiengesellschaft (formerly Allbecon Olympia Aktiengesellschaft ) based in Dusseldorf is a personnel service provider with European orientation. The main areas of activity are temporary employment and recruitment . In addition, services were provided in the areas of on-site management , outsourcing , outplacement and interim management .

The company was represented with 86 branches in Germany , Italy , Poland , Portugal , Switzerland and Spain . The 7,800 employees generated sales of € 72.8 million in the first half of 2006. In the 2005 financial year, sales of € 135 million were achieved.

In 1979 the "DPS Düsseldorfer Personal-Service GmbH" was founded. 1987 saw the founding of "Allgemeine Beteiligungs- und Consulting GmbH", or Allbecon for short, in Düsseldorf. In 1991 the Otto Wolff Group started to hold a majority stake in the Allbecon / DPS group of companies. In 1994, after the Federal Employment Agency's monopoly on recruiting had ceased, private recruitment began. In 1997/1998 the resulting subsidiaries were integrated into Allbecon Personaldienstleistungen.

The company went public in September 1998. Allbecon expanded its operating range to foreign markets in 1999 through acquisitions in Spain and Italy. Compared to 1997 sales tripled to 102.3 million euros. 2000 was the foundation of a subsidiary in Switzerland and IT services. In 2001, Allbecon Polska was re-established. In 2002 Allbecon increased its shares in its subsidiaries in Italy and Spain. The Medical Services division was expanded further.

The shares of "Allbecon Aktiengesellschaft" have been traded in the General Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since November 2003 . The Spanish subsidiary entered the Portuguese market at the end of 2004: Allbecon Portugal, Empresa de Trabalho Temporário, Unipessoal, Lda. started operations in the second half of 2005.

In 2006 Allbecon signed a merger agreement with the Dutch Olympic group. For this purpose, the umbrella company "Overdrive Projekt AG" was founded in August 2006, which comprised both Allbecon AG and "Olympia Uitzendgroep BV". In 2007 "Allbecon Aktiengesellschaft" merged with the Dutch Olympia to form "Allbecon Olympia Aktiengesellschaft". In June 2008 the name was changed to "Olympia Flexgroup Aktiengesellschaft".

Marcel Slaghekke resigned from his position as Chairman of the Board on August 3, 2009 after 22 years of service . On January 19, 2010, Olympia Flexgroup AG filed for insolvency. On March 26, 2010, the Düsseldorf District Court opened insolvency proceedings due to insolvency and over-indebtedness.

The stores in Spain, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands and Germany were sold in the first half of 2010. With effect from February 16, 2011, the company's shares were no longer listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
