Omar Lombardi

Omar Lombardi (born September 16, 1989 ) is an Italian road cyclist.

Omar Lombardi won a stage at Tre Ciclistica Bresciana in the junior class in 2006 and came second in the overall standings. The next year he won the one-day race Trofeo Città di Ivrea and he was again second overall at Tre Ciclistica Bresciana. In the 2010 season he won a stage in the Giro Ciclistico d'Italia . In 2011 and 2012 Lombardi started for the Professional Continental Team Colnago-CSF Inox .

In the course of the doping investigation by the Public Prosecutor of Padua , he was suspected of having been a customer of the controversial sports medicine specialist Michele Ferrari .
