Omar Tobb ran in the 2012 parliamentary elections as an independent candidate in the Lower Fulladu West constituency in the Janjanbureh Administrative Area . With 43.51% he was able to win the constituency before Yerro MC Mballow (APRC). In the 2017 parliamentary elections , Tobb ran again in the same constituency. With 8.61% he could not hold the constituency, he lost it to Alhagie Darboe (UDP).
