Ombré hair
Ombré Hair , also Ombre Hair , Ombréhair or Ombre Hairstyle , is a hair fashion in which the tips of the hair are colored light and the rest of the hair is colored dark.
The combination of honey-blonde to caramel-colored tones with dark-blonde to brunette tones is common. Mostly ombré hair is worn with long to medium-length hairstyles, in particular with half-up hair (half open, half pinned up), sleek chignon ( chignon using hair gel ) or updos with strands pulled out.
This hair fashion is intended to imitate the typical discoloration that surfers' hair gets from the bleaching effect of the sea water and the sun. The aim is therefore to have a naturally sporty appearance.
Celebrities who have worn ombré hair include Jessica Biel , Salma Hayek , Kate Beckinsale and Lena Meyer-Landrut .
