The Omdel Dam , for Omaruru Delta Dam , is a dam in Namibia , around 38 kilometers east of Henties Bay . The Omdel Dam was completed in 1984 as a gravity dam made of earth and clay. The Omdel Reservoir is fed by the Omaruru and has a capacity of around 41.288 million cubic meters .
The reservoir received an inflow for the first time in 2020 after three years.
