OmniOutliner is an outline editor for OS X and iOS distributed by the Omni Group. For some time (2006–2007) the standard version was included with certain Apple computers. The program won the Apple Design Award in 2005. The current version 4.x requires MacOS 10.9 and was completely reprogrammed by the manufacturer. The .oo3 file format was taken over from version 3 and thus downward compatibility is still given. There is both a standard and a pro edition. Both editions can be purchased via the MacAppStore or directly.
