The Number One Bloor (also known as: One Bloor and One Bloor East) is a high-rise building that is still under construction, which, in addition to a classic residential complex, is to include a fitness studio, wellness facilities and other facilities. It is produced at the Yonge Street corner Bloor Street in Toronto , Canada.

history

The construction project was originally announced in 2007. In 2009 it was called into question due to the high construction costs and was not implemented in its former form. Initially, a hotel and residential unit were to be created in the building. On July 22, 2009, construction company Bazis International sold the property to Great Gulf Homes.

The construction project was revised during construction, with the height lowered to 202 meters. Ultimately, it was decided that the new building, which is designed exclusively as a residential building, should have 75 floors and a height of 257 meters. The building is being built by Great Gulf Homes.

architecture

The building will have a concrete and glass facade and balconies. It will stand on top of a multi-purpose building in which several facilities such as cafes, wellness areas and small shops and restaurants will be located. The wellness area will be on the 6th and 7th floors, with an open-air swimming pool, sunbathing area and lawn on the roof of the multi-purpose building.
