properties

OpenSlides is a free, web-based presentation and assembly system for displaying and controlling the agenda, proposals and elections of an event. With OpenSlides, all the contents of an event (such as the agenda, motions, lists of speakers, candidates and election results) can be projected onto the screen with the latest information. The chair of the meeting controls and processes this content interactively, also distributed with various mobile devices.

Another advantage over conventional office presentation systems is that the slides can be edited using an editing system. The presentation mode on the projector does not have to be exited and always shows the current slide. OpenSlides is designed for use at events such as delegate or general meetings, party conferences or general meetings. There is no participant restriction.

What is particularly new is the function of including the plenary session : participants at an event can use their own mobile device to B. Read motions, election results and the current agenda. It becomes interactive when participants put themselves on the list of speakers via OpenSlides, submit applications, run for an election or suggest other candidates. OpenSlides manages the attendees to make it easier to line up candidates for upcoming elections, generate preprinted ballot papers and display counted election and voting results. It is also easy to check the quorum.
