iBlali, also called "Vik" (real name Viktor Roth ; born February 29, 1992 in Kazakhstan ), is a German web video producer , streamer , actor and voice actor .

Life

At the age of six, Roth moved to Germany from Jessil in Kazakhstan , where he lived with his Russian-German family in poor conditions. The family moved several times. He had lived in Wedel since he was nine and attended the Theodor Storm School there. After Roth graduated from secondary school, he attended the vocational school in Pinneberg and made up his advanced secondary school certificate. After a short period of unemployment, he decided to take his Abitur at the Fachgymnasium in Elmshorn , but dropped out of school a few months later in 2011 and moved to Hamburg so that, after successfully participating in YouTube NextUp , he could take part in a project to support new channels a prize money of 20,000 euros, and the partnership with the multi-channel network Mediakraft Networks was able to dedicate entirely to YouTube. In the same year he moved to Düsseldorf . In mid-2014 he moved to Cologne .

Career on YouTube

Roth started on YouTube with Let's Plays on the Aligator1024 channel. His first currently public video was uploaded to YouTube on June 17, 2006. During his Let's Player time he had a second account called "Bl4li", on which he uploaded short films and homemade songs like "Dönerbuden-Ali", but this no longer exists. On Bl4li, Roth made his first experience with short films , from which his current main channel iBlali emerged. After he started with his channel iBlali, he stopped Let's Play. On his main channel he started with four series ( iBlali , Trve and a half men , Ali-Tells , Flop-Games ) and produced even smaller videos with other topics ( creeps & video game myths ). A video appears on his main channel once a week on Saturdays. With the new channel, he quickly gained many new viewers and subscribers. In 2014 he announced that he would like to start again with Let's Plays and plans to continue this on his gaming channel ( Aligator1024 ). Furthermore, he cooperates again and again with other YouTubers , such as ApeCrime , Simon Unge , Julien Bam , Jarow or Y-Titty . He is under contract with the channels iBlali and VIK at ReachHero GmbH.

At the end of 2015 he announced in a video that he would not publish any further videos under Aligator1024 and that he would devote himself entirely to videos about computer games .

However, a few months later he reverted to his old canal concept. In mid-2016 he discontinued his successful series “Ali-Tells”, from which the initially more serious “iAsk” emerged. For a short time, however, iBlali has returned to its Ali-Tells format.

On March 2, 2019, he uploaded a video entitled " THE LETZTE ALI-TELLS! " And thus discontinued his channel iBlali. Since then, videos have only been uploaded to the VIK channel. Mostly they are excerpts from his Twitch channel.

Awards

  • In 2011 Roth won the “Youtube NextUp” competition.
  • In 2014 he was awarded the “Golden Play Button” for 1,000,000 subscribers as part of the video day .
