Jessil ( Kazakh Есіл ; Russian Есиль ) is a city in Kazakhstan . It is the center of the Jessil district of the Aqmola region . Until 1997 Jessil belonged to the Turgai Oblast .

The city is located in the area on the right bank of Aqmola also esil mentioned in Kazakhstan river Ishim .

Jessil is on the South Siberian Railway . Here a route branches off to Arqalyq .
