Jarow (born March 16, 1996 near Frankfurt am Main ; real name Julian Hannes ) is a German web video producer and non-fiction author. He has been running the Jarow channel (formerly Schizophrenic Blog) on YouTube since November 2011 , where he mainly uploads mystery and entertainment videos.

Life

Julian Hannes graduated from high school in the city of Bad Vilbel in 2014 . In October 2015 he moved into a shared apartment and studied at the University of Cologne .

Main channel

His main channel on YouTube, Jarow, has existed since November 2011. He founded it together with former YouTuber Valentin as SchizophrenicBlog . For the time being, videos about rap were produced on the channel . After Valentin left, Hannes mainly produced videos on entertainment. The old videos with Valentin have also been made inaccessible to the public. The canal was also renamed Jarow . Later on, Hannes decided on Mystery.

With the YouTuber Kurono he moderated the program Lets Watch on the Internet youth channel RTL II You . In addition, together with Kurono, he was part of a promotion for RTL II in the form of a live game for the series The Walking Dead .

Since 2019 he has been producing the podcast MysteryCast with the rapper Shimmy , where they talk about solved and unsolved criminal cases .

The highest ranking was 10. In November 2019, a second part was published with the title Man is evil! The book was also placed on the Spiegel bestseller list of paperback non-fiction books. It stayed there for eleven weeks with the top placing five.
