Live and act

He was born in San Giorgio Canavese dai Micheloni in the early 1430s.

He may have attended the University of Turin and may have been the teacher and master of Giovanni di Mombaruzzo and Giasone del Maino. In 1457 he graduated in utroque iure, i.e. civil and canon law. He taught at the University of Turin as early as 1452 and stayed there all his life, first in the field of civil law , finally canon law and it ended in feudal law. Thanks to his long career, he received the title of Count, which was given to those who had been teaching for more than twenty years. Among his students were Giovanni Francesco Balbo and Claudio di Seyssel , who later took his place.

In parallel to his academic activities, he had various public obligations. Almost all of his works were published in print and his treatise on court law aroused public interest.

He died in Turin in 1494.
