The OpenTravel Alliance , founded in 1999, is a non-profit organization that develops specifications for the cross-system electronic exchange of information for the travel industry .
The members of the Open Travel Alliance include airlines , hotel companies , car rental companies , cruise lines , railway companies , CRS and provider for tourism software solutions.
