Halley Feiffer

Halley Feiffer (born 1985 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress .

Life and accomplishments

The daughter of comic book artist and screenwriter Jules Feiffer grew up in the Upper West Side district . She starred in her father's 1976 play Knock Knock , which was nominated for a Tony Award , as well as in several other plays. She had her first film role alongside Oscar and Golden Globe Award nominees Laura Linney in the 2000 drama You Can Count on Me . In the Oscar and Golden Globe nominated independent film The Squid and the Whale (2005) she was seen again next to Laura Linney. In 2005 she began her studies at Wesleyan University .

Feiffer acted as a narrator in the cartoon I Lost My Bear (2005). In the film drama Stephanie Daley (2006), which was honored with numerous awards and nominations, she took on one of the bigger roles alongside Amber Tamblyn . In the comedy Margot and the Wedding (2007) she appeared on the side of Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Jason Leigh . In 2009/2010 she was seen in several larger productions: Fighting Fish , Gentlemen Broncos and The Messenger - The Last Message .
