Opha Pauline Dube

Opha Pauline Dube (* 1960 ) is a Botswana environmental scientist. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Botswana .

Life

Dube received his PhD in geographic science from the University of Queensland . She was Vice-Chair of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Program (IGBP) for five years . At the University of Botswana, she founded the Botswana Global Environmental Change Committee .

Act

Dube's research enjoys worldwide recognition in science and focuses on the field of global environmental change in the context of the Anthropocene , in particular climate change .
