Global Environmental Change (Human and Policy Dimensions) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that has been published by Elsevier since 1990 .

The journal publishes environmental science papers on environmental change, which also have a social science component. Topics include influencing factors, consequences and management of change processes in the areas of biodiversity , ecosystems , climate , food chains and the use of resources such as land , water , oceans and urban areas .
