Jared MacEachern
Jared MacEachern (born August 16, 1980 ) is an American musician. He is a member of the band Machine Head and previously played for Sanctity .
Career
MacEachern grew up in North Carolina and sang in the church choir between the ages of five and thirteen . At the age of ten he played the violin and later switched to the cello and then to the bass . With twelve years MacEachern came to the metal , as a friend to him the song The Unforgiven by Metallica played for. After high school he briefly attended the Brevard School for Music Performance, MacEachern met the members of the band Sanctity. The band was looking for a guitarist back then. Since MacEachern wanted to join the band, he switched to the guitar and also took over the vocals. With Sanctity he released the first and only album Road to Bloodshed in 2007 .
After the birth of his daughter in 2007, MacEachern left the band Sanctity, which broke up a short time later. In the meantime he helped out with the band Machine Head as a temporary replacement for Adam Duce , who was unable to play after an injury. In the following years MacEachern played in some local bands such as From a Dig or Telic , before he joined the band Serenity Dies from the Maldives in 2010 . After Machine Head split from Adam Duce in 2013, MacEachern applied for the vacant position and was eventually accepted into the band. MacEachern made his debut on the November 2014 album Bloodstone & Diamonds .
