  • Oppido Mamertina , a southern Italian municipality in the province of Reggio Calabria in Calabria
  • Diocese of Oppido Mamertina-Palmi , a Roman Catholic diocese in Italy with its seat in Oppido Mamertina
  • Oppidum ( Latin for small town , (fortified) country town ) was the name given by the Romans to important fortified settlements


After the place of origin Oppido is named:

  • John of Oppido (* around 1073), Norman priest from southern Italy, who converted to Judaism in 1102
