OptimFROG (.ofr) is a codec from Florin Ghido that enables lossless audio data compression . OptimFROG's algorithms are optimized for very high compression rates, although significantly slower encoding / decoding computing times than with comparable programs have to be accepted.

OptimFROG DualStream (.ofs / ofc) enables lossy audio data compression and provides a hybrid mode in which a correction file is generated in addition to the lossy file, with the help of which the source data can be completely restored.

When compressing the audio data, an MD5 hash can be included, which can be used to check whether the data was compressed correctly. APEv2 and ID3v1.1 are supported as tagging systems . Support for ReplayGain is also available.
