Pentax Optio S50

The Pentax Optio S50 is a digital compact camera . It is the direct successor to the Pentax Optio S40 . It has a resolution of 5 megapixels and has a 3x optical zoom (35-105 mm equivalent) and an additional 2.6x digital zoom. The camera has a size of approx. 90 × 59 × 25 mm and has a color LC display of 1.8  inches with a resolution of approx. 85,000 pixels. The housing is mainly made of aluminum and is silver-colored. It has a weight of approx. 130  grams . The storage medium can SD memory card (not SDHC) up to 4  GB are used, in addition, the camera has an internal memory of 11 MB. The exposure index can be manually adjusted four times (50, 100, 200, 400 ISO) independently of the automatic mode . The built-in flash unit with automatic activation in poor lighting conditions can be switched on and off manually.

Special features: By using the special underwater housing, film and photo recordings can be made with the S50 in a depth of up to 40 meters ( JIS level 8). The camera also has a display for the world time of 62 cities and 28 time zones .
